PJ's was established in
April 2001 by Rick and Paula (PJ) Shelton, residents of Manteno.
We wanted to provide a safe, friendly place for kids, families,
and students to sit, play games, reconnect, read, or even do
homework.
It is a neighborhood gathering place. Friends and family alike are able to come in, enjoy a snack or meal, and share each other's company. Occasionally on the weekends we feature live local entertainment. These evenings include bands, instrumentalists, and singers. Many types of music are played; everything from Acappella to Zydeco. There is something for everyone at PJ's!
